Nicholas's Quilt

I have only recently become an aunt for the first time in my life. At the same time, I am surrounded by quilting friends. The answer seemed obvious and Nicholas's quilt was born...well, sewn. All the straight-line stitching was completed on a sewing machine while the tracing of shapes was hand-sewn. Oddly enough, the hand quilting does not show up in the picture of the front, but the back proves it is really there. Click on any of the images below for a bigger picture.
