Barnes and Noble University Online Courses:
- Writing Science Fiction -- (Taught by Marta Randall a member of the Gotham Writers' Workshop) Offers an overview of the basic elements when writing science fiction along with interesting reading and writing assignments.
- Learn to Play Guitar -- (Taught by Terry Burrows) Offers a look into the history of both the guitar as a constructed object and a musical artform. While definitely interesting, I'd taken the course as a refresher because my skills are stale. I felt it spent more time on the history and too little on physically playing.
